For drivers who want a low stance but do not want to sacrifice a quiet and comfortable ride IMO the best combo is: NA springs on TT shocks with ST sway bars; keep the OEM parts and use a 300 Degree Camber Kit with extra shims because the drop is more than a 0.8 inches. The key to this setup is the heavier ST sway bar combined with relatively softer springs (although the NA fronts have same rate as TT springs... just shorter length, hence the drop). The impact harshness for which I thought I needed different shock abosorbers was instead caused by the hard point connections of aftermarket tension rods and upper control arms. Once I swapped those out for OEM parts, the pothole harsh impact disappeared. No more crashing around on washboard roads. Plus the ride is quieter with less road noise transmitted into the cabin. It is pretty amazing how much more civilized the overall driving experience has become. I guess its because I added the aftermarket parts in incremental fashion, and did not notice the cumulative effects. I first replaced the Eibachs with NA springs; then took off the subframe spacers. That made a huge difference, but the pothole impact harshness remained. This second phase has taken care of that problem for me. I realize most owners are not going back to OEM parts. However, for those who are beginning to realize how uncomfortable their daily drivers have become, but like the looks of a decent drop, then maybe this is the fix for you.
